AAA Minneapolis now offers an enhanced method to consult with a travel professional, using a free interactive feature known as iTravel Advisor, which allows you to view travel material on your computer while speaking with a consultant by phone.
Start at the Travel page on the AAA Minneapolis website. In the middle of the page, click Online Consultation in the red bar, and you’re on your way (Note: This is different from the pop-up chat feature). iTravel is a unique travel-planning product offered exclusively by AAA that takes online travel booking to a new level. It features videos, images, brochures, maps and more, so you can see your trip come to life before you start packing your bags.
Once you’ve made an online request for an iTravel consultation, an agent will connect with you by email to set up the session. You can help your consultant prepare for the meeting by suggesting vacation destinations, timing and anything else you feel is important to the conversation.
If you don’t know where to start, we’ll have plenty of ideas to inspire you. Your consultant has access to essential tools such as online AAA Destination Guides, virtual tours of accommodations, and examples of tours and activities to share while you discuss vacation options. iTravel is like sitting across the table from your travel consultant to map out your journey together. All you need is a Wi-Fi connection and a phone, and we take care of the rest.
Your iTravel consultant can send you an email summary of the session, along with links to the images, videos and other material you viewed, which you can share with others. Your consultant can book the trip anytime—on the spot when you first meet or after you’ve had a chance to digest the information and consider your options. It’s your dream vacation, and we’re here to make it as easy as possible on your terms.
